Helpful Tips In Making The Most Comfortable Tent Camping

Tent camping is a pleasant alternative to pricey vacations. However, for tent camping to be convenient, there are some things that you need to bring along and to understand. If you read further below, I’m pretty sure you’ll learn a lot of information on how to make camping a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Tent camping requires you to equip yourself with the correct equipment, food, clothing and other practical tools of modern life. Here is a list of camping essentials that you should never go without.

General Equipment

Tents must have screens and windows as these allow you to see the outside of your tent and guard yourselves from insects and other animals in the wild.

Sleeping bags, air mattress, pump or camp pads. If you want to wake up without suffering from an aching back, you need one or a lot of of these things. These sleeping items will defend your back from the tough surface of the ground that could lead to a miserable painful back and body the next day.

Lantern, Fuel, Flashlights, extra batteries. Of course you will need fuel and light. Just make sure that you keep them in safe places to shelter them from getting wet or lost.

First aid kit. You may personalize your kit depending on your needs. Don’t forget to take in insect repellants and cut and scrape medicines. This is one of the most essential tools that you need to create a comfortable camping experience.

Other tent camping supplies include:

Multipurpose knife
Ground cover and tarps
Ropes or twines
Rags
Carpet for front of tent
Rain gears
Toilet papers
Soap and other bathing essentials

Kitchen Essentials

When you’re tent camping either with your friends or family, one of most worthy things that will make your experience a memorable one is having the proper food. And the talentto cook and prepare it properly. Here is a list of kitchen essentials that you should take with you on your camping trips:

Portable cooking stove. Don’t forget the fuel canisters and matches that must be sealed in a plastic bag

Camp chairs, folding tables, plates and mugs, can opener and other cooking and eating utensils.

Water supplies (Cooler and water bottles for hiking.

Non perishable food stored in a zip-locked plastic or plastic container.

Entertainment Essentials

Being away from civilization does not necessarily mean that you should strip yourself from the right to be entertained. However, during a camping vacation, entertainment may be a bit modified to be appropriate your environment. Here are some things that you may want to bring with you:

Books

Puzzles

Wildlife identification books

Binoculars

Cameras

Cards, pencils and papers

Fishing gear

Tent camping should be entertaining, not boring nor should it cause discomfort. Otherwise, it will defeat the whole purpose of “enjoying” and “relaxing” on your vacation. Aside from these guidelines creativity is also a key. Think of activities that you could do day-in and day-out, rain or shine. Set up your vacation in advance so that you will have much time to anticipate and prepare your needs.

The Secrets of Puerto Morelos Vacation Rentals in Mexico

Puerto Morelos isn’t exactly a secret destination, but it’s certainly not as traveled as a few of its neighbors. And if you are looking for amazing vacation rentals in Mexico then this place may be the one you want. Everyone knows that Cancun is a hotspot for revelers and beach lovers, especially during spring break, but if that’s not the thing you’re after, there is a perfectly amazing alternative. Upon arriving in Puerto Morelos and realizing that it’s lovely, relaxing and not nearly as crowded as other Mexican resort towns, you’ll be puzzled as to why it isn’t more traveled and well known. The answer has to do with the fact that everyone who comes here has such a wonderful time that they end up jealously guarding their discovery. Unless you’re specifically seeking the chance to be a hedonist alongside a bunch of stir-crazy youngsters, then Puerto Morelos makes more sense as the focus of your hard-earned vacation. Thus, once weary travelers set foot in this peaceful and picturesque town known for its barrier reef and authentic atmosphere, you won’t want to ruin it all by spreading the word too zealously.

Having uncovered the secret, however, praise your luck and live it up in Puerto Morelos. This was originally a fishing village whose status as a National Marine Park keeps it from being overly-developed, and the best way to stay in the spirit of the town is to rent a vacation home on the beach, put your feet up, and live like this is where you belong. The condos and homes here for rent are some of the best vacation rentals in Mexico. Blending in instead of being treated like some kind of “tourist” is a fulfilling experience, and once you choose a vacation home you’ll want to stay forever. If you’ve never taken this route before, you’re in for a treat. Vacation rentals can range from small, intimate casitas to spacious and luxurious villas. On the beach they provide easy access to a day of fun and sun, and for the down time that you’re counting on to revive you, there’s a comfortable bed, a patio, and maybe even a hammock with your name on them. A kitchen complete with appliances, dishes and spices means that whipping up a meal will be as easy as pie, so getting dressed and heading to a restaurant doesn’t have to be an every day thing. Keep it relaxed, stick to your own schedule, and go for days without wearing any shoes if that’s what you feel like doing.

Each of the dozens of Puerto Morelos vacation rentals is uniquely decorated and situated in a spot convenient to one diversion or another. Some are closer to the Cancun airport, some are near the reef and some are walking distance from the town. Certain travelers enjoy feeling like they’re off the beaten path; for these there are privacy-oriented beach houses tucked away from the main thoroughfares. Others would rather feel a sense of seclusion yet remain connected to the action, and there are properties that meet this requirement as well. Jacuzzi tubs, open-air patios, air-conditioning, and even a housekeeper accompany many vacation rentals. You’ll feel more independent and free than if you were booked in a hotel, but not so much so that you’re overwhelmed. Staying in a real home for a little while doesn’t have to come with the responsibilities of keeping it spotless or weeding the garden. Let yourself relax for a few days, because the pressure is off. Puerto Morelos is near enough to Cancun, Playa del Carmen, and the ancient ruins of Tulum to make day trips a cinch, but don’t be surprised if you end up staying close to this small gathering of shops and eateries, beaches and bungalows. That’s why you came here, remember? Escaping the crowds and getting cozy with your companion sounds like the perfect way to spend a few days, and when you return you’ll probably find yourself revealing as little about the trip as possible. It’s not that you don’t want your friends to have a great vacation for themselves, but let them find their own secret spot.About the author: Heather Worthington is an expert on vacation rentals in Mexico and she regularly writes articles and gives advice online. For the more adventurous and nature lovers, Canada offers some of the best vacationing areas in the world. Winters are wonderful in Canada; with snow clad mountains and skiing “highways”. Adventure and relaxation in cities, parks and mountains of Canada can be an everlasting memory, if planned and budgeted properly.

The majestic coastal mountains of British Columbia house some of the North America’s largest ski resorts, Blackcomb and Whistler Mountain. These towering mountains heighten to about a mile from the valley and are strewn with skiing trails for all levels. They have about 200 trails covering more than 7,000 acres of treacherous mountain terrain.

These skiing trails are often rated high when compared to popular, expensive and always over booked resorts like Colorado, Vail and Aspen. This is due to the magnificent ski slopes and a host of pedestrian-only villages that have multiple shops, restaurants and a variety of nightlife. The best part of the Whistler Resort is its social and community atmosphere. Added to this the value of US dollar in Canada contributes to the attraction of skiers from across the globe.

Glacier National Park is another of the major tourist and vacationing attraction. Known for its breath-taking views of waterfalls, lakes and high mountains and covering about a million acres, this Crown of the Continent” is very sparsely populated compared to the Yellowstone or Yosemite national parks in the USA. This house of the grizzly is all the more attractive because of the wildlife which is another major attraction for vacationers is Canada. The wildlife spotting in Canada can be exhilarating when one spots a wolf, mountain lion or a Rocky Mountain sheep.

Planning your vacation in Canada can be very easy and low budget considering a host of vacation rentals and private accommodation available across the most sought after tourist destinations.

Renting a vacation home or cottage is easy, pay the rent for as many weeks as you need. You can rent direct form the owner or through various rental agents strewn all over the place. Choices are easy to make using the book or a brochure available with most agents. The only disadvantage compared to a hotel is that you may end up doing most of the housework, if the vacation home or the private accommodation is not staffed.
The cost of renting or leasing a vacation home or private accommodation is very nominal compared to the cost of hotels. Many owners have turned towards part time renting their properties due to rising cost of real estate and cost of living.
The private accommodation and vacation home renting can bring down your costs of vacationing in the skiing paradise down drastically, allowing you to budget more for your shopping or adventure needs, or even to extend your holiday a little more.

It has wonderful sandy beaches, one of which allows nude bathing, from Pointe de l’Aiguille and Pointe St-Marc, some great beach restaurants such as the Marco Polo, huge rocky escarpments, loads of water sports and is ideal for swimming. Fabulous views both up to the mountains behind or from the mountains over the village and the sparkling Mediterranean sea. It is sheltered by those Esterel Mountains behind, which are fantastic in the summer as they offer some shade on the beaches in the late afternoons, but have the effect of making it a bit less sunny in the afternoons in winter, although none the less beautiful for all that in the winter months.

The small harbour is delightful, with its red rock lighthouse standing out and there are other fascinating buildings here such as the crenellated castle chteau des Mineurs which was originally used as a soap factory and is now accommodation. The walks are also very beautiful, but more of a hike than a walk given the mountains (the Grosses Grues is 440 metres in altitude, that’s nearly 1400 feet high) that surround this ancient village which can trace its history back to the 5th century, having always been a safe haven port.

The drive along the coast in the direction of st tropez villa rentals if one of the most beautiful in the world, with its rocky outcrops, untamed sea and the sparkling blue waters, set against the backdrop of the mountains, which are covered in bright yellow mimosa in January and February make this a truly breathtaking spectacle. In the other direction is Mandelieu La Napoule and the Cannes, There are a number of restaurants in Mandelieu and two very nice golf courses, the Riviera and The Mandelieu Old Course, which is particularly pretty as most of the fairways are made up of parasol pines and it is close to the sea.

Cannes itself is a fantastic vibrant festival town. The Cannes Film Festival takes place in May each year and attracts film stars and media types from all over the world who swarms around the Palais des Festivals and fill up the Carlton, The Martinez and the Majestic hotels, plus most of the others as well. the shopping here is delightful if you are a designer hound, Dior, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and many others have shops here, most often on the Croisette, the road along the sea front and the beach restaurants are amongst the best in the world. The old town of Le Sucquet has any number of great restaurants as well, especially those congregated up the Rue St Antoine, the road that winds up from the port area to the old town.

Some hotels are available in Theole Sur Mer, but by far the best way to stay and explore the area is to rent a private villa, which is surprisingly easy to do. There are several companies offering this type of accommodation, some speak English some are English, and in Theole Sur Mer there is good chance that you will get a fantastic sea or mountain view together with the almost inevitable swimming pool.
